Making a Difference
At St. Michael's we recognise that we have a responsibility not only for ourselves but to help others outside of our own community. Often children ask if they can run fund raising activities for their own preferred charities and to support areas where disaster strikes. Many classes regularly serve our local community by entertaining at local clubs and hospitals.
Below are just a few examples of some of the activities that take place at the school.
- Year 5 singing at the hospital
- Year 6 serving at the Tea Party for the elderly
- Year 6 shopping for Christmas shoeboxes
- Charity sponsored events
- Recycling efforts
