Science

"All religions, arts and sciences are branches of the same tree. All these aspirations are directed toward ennobling man's life, lifting it from the sphere of mere physical existence and leading the individual towards freedom."

Albert Einstein

Science stimulates and excites pupils’ curiosity about the world around them. It also satisfies their curiosity with knowledge. Because science links direct practical experience with ideas, it can engage learners at many levels.

Here at St Michael's we value and encourage looking at the world with curiosity and questioning eyes.

Children develop and expand their ideas with experimentation and evaluation,  seeing how science has an effect on the world around them, reflecting on issues that may affect their own lives, the direction of society and the future of the world.

Apart form all that, Science can be seriously exciting!
