‘Blessed is the influence of one true, loving human soul on another.’   George Eliot

As you know, our Spring Ball is imminent, and the tickets have now been sold. It sounds like it’s going to be amazing! For anyone who would still like to contribute to the cause of our school sensory room, and have the chance to win some goodies along the way, some of our lovely volunteers will be selling raffle tickets in the playground in the run-up to the big night.

We would like extend our very warm thanks to everyone who has helped with organisation, bought tickets or raffle tickets so far. You are instrumental in our plan to provide real, targeted support for children who really need us.

The emotional wellbeing of children is just as important as their physical health. Good mental health allows children and young people to develop the resilience to cope with whatever life throws at them and grow into well-rounded, healthy adults.  Evidence suggests that more children and young people have problems with their mental health today than 30 years ago. With your help, we can try to turn the tide.

For more information, please take a look at our sensory room page here.

Seek Joy in Service

Headteacher's Welcome

Welcome to St. Michael’s Church of England Primary School web-site. I hope it will give visitors both the information they need as well as a flavour of life at St. Michael’s.

Many would call us an old-fashioned school! We value good manners, kindness, forgiveness, integrity and respect. Our school motto ‘Seek Joy in Service’ encourages us to contribute to the wider community. The leaders of tomorrow will need self-confidence and charisma tempered with humility and a caring heart – and we want our children to be the leaders of tomorrow!
