World Mental Health day 2019

Please enter an introduction for your news story here

Today is world Mental Health day. At St Michaels we recognise that good mental health is vital in order to help us to cope with life's ups and downs, to feel settled in our lives and to be able to ask for help from others when we need it.

We all have mental health, just as we all have bodily health. Being mentally healthy means that we have positive self image, make and keep positive relationships with others and can feel and comfortably manage the full range of emotions. These can range from happiness, excitement and curiosity through to feelings that are more difficult to deal with, such as anger, fear or sadness.

So today, as always, take the time where you can to take care of  yourself. take a break, breathe, check in with yourself and maybe even with your friends and family.
