Challenge 1:   complete the arithmetic in 25-30 minutes. When you have finished mark your answers.

Challenge 2: complete the arithmetic in 25-30 minutes. Can you use the inverse (opposite operation) to check if you answer is correct? Example- 4 + 5 = 9 so 9 – 5 = 4.

Challenge 3:  complete the arithmetic in 25-30 minutes. Can you solve the questions in a different way? For example, instead of using the column method, can you draw counters?
