Activity: Think about how trains have changed our lives.
You could fold a piece of paper in half and write or draw what life was like before trains and what life was like after.
Think about:
- What are the benefits of trains? What are the downsides?
- How would you get around before trains or cars? Would it be quick or easy?
- In London, how do lots of people get to work? How would that be different if there weren’t trains.
- What do you use trains for? Would you be able to do these things without trains? How would it be different?
