Riddle:  If a blue house is made out of blue bricks, a yellow house is made out of yellow bricks and a pink house is made out of pink bricks, what is a green house made of?

Activity: Think about how trains have changed our lives.

You could fold a piece of paper in half and write or draw what life was like before trains and what life was like after.

Think about:

  • What are the benefits of trains? What are the downsides?
  • How would you get around before trains or cars? Would it be quick or easy?
  • In London, how do lots of people get to work? How would that be different if there weren’t trains.
  • What do you use trains for? Would you be able to do these things without trains? How would it be different?
