Admission Arrangements Consultation 2022-23
Minutes of the Governing Body Admissions Committee Meeting on
26th February 2021
A formal consultation was held for the 2022/23 Admissions Criteria for the school. The 6-week consultation period ran from 14th December 2020 to 25th January 2021.
The admissions criteria for 2022-2023 remain unchanged from those of 2021-2022, with the continuation of the Covid-19 pandemic exceptional circumstances: Variation to faith oversubscription criteria. The Variation was approved by the Office of the Schools Adjudicator, in accordance with section 88E of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998 - and remains in the policy for admission in September 2022.
Variation to the 2022-2023 Admission Policy:
In the event that during the period specified for attendance at worship, the church has been closed for public worship and has not provided alternative premises for that worship, the requirements of these admission arrangements in relation to attendance will only apply to the period when the church or alternative premises have been available for public worship.
The admissions criteria for 2022-2023 remain otherwise unchanged.
The consultation was communicated by the school to the relevant stakeholders:
