Today we would like you to deliver your speech to parents, carers, older brothers or sisters or friends online. We would like them to judge how they think you performed (for example confidence, clear arguments and having eye contact wth them rather than speaking and looking at a piece of paper).
The slides below give you more ideas about how to deliver your speech and some of the language you can use to try and persuade people to agree with you.
For the second part of today's lessons we would like you to copy and correct a passage. Parts that will need to be checked are:
- full stops
- capital letters
- apostrophes for contractions
- speech marks
- spelling or words using mis_, un_ and dis_ prefixes
