Pupil Premium Funding

St Michael’s CE Primary School

The government introduced Pupil Premium funding in 2011. This money is allocated to schools, based on the number of children on roll who claim Free School Meals (FSM), have received FSM in the last six years, are Looked After or in Armed Service families. From April 2014, this was extended to children who have been adopted from care on or after 30th December 2005 or that left care under a Special Guardianship Order on or after 30th December 2005.

The money is used for initiatives to ensure pupils reach their full potential, academically, physically and socially. Please click below for more information.
