Seek Joy in Service

World Mental Health Day 2019

At St Michael's, we recognise that good mental health is vital in order to help us cope with life's ups and downs, to feel settled in our lives and to be able to ask for help from others when we need it.

We all have mental health, just as we all have bodily health. Being mentally healthy means that we have a positive self-image, make and keep positive relationships with others, and can feel and comfortably manage the full range of emotions. These can range from happiness, excitement and curiousity, through to feelings that are more difficult to deal with, such as anger, fear or sadness.

So, take the time to take care of yourself: take a break, breahte, check in with yourself and maybe also with family and friends.

Try to think about '3 good things' - details of how to do this are below.
